Shes referring to losing our hospital here in Belhaven, NC. Hyde County uses it, its their closest medical facility and when the ?haha? Not for Profit Hospital conglomerate, Vidant Health closes our little hospital (which they guaranteed 2 years ago that they wouldnt as they absorbed control of it) those Hyde County folks will have to drive up to or maybe even more than 90 miles to get to a hospital... Were talking a two lane country road, no other roads available, and bordered by swampy canals. If theres a tree across the road, an accident, flooding (occurring all the time here) or icy conditions, rampant with deer and black bear, those people are in bad shape... well have to drive the same kind of road (only one road) country,curvy, deer, prone to flooding, just over 30 miles one way to a hospital when Vidant gets their way. BTW, Thanks Again to Rethuglican Governor McCrory who hates Obama more than he cares about NCians because hes black. I cant SMDH enough over the in-saneness of our state legislators.
