Shew, what I thought would be a quick fix...turned into a lot of rip and repeat many times over. When I bought my treadle, the lady that sold it to me told of how her grandmother would make these little beany clowns and sell them for her furniture funds. Well, part of what came with the treadle were pattern pieces...but no direction on how to put them together. I got some ideas thanks to search engine images LOL..but no directions on how to put the pieces together. So, tonight I sat at my treadle and fussed trying to figure out how to put this clown together. Its not perfect, but not bad for a first attempt and trying to figure it out. He looks more like a cute little boy ready to head to bed to me...poor little guy is stiff shouldered/armed...must figure out what to do there...oh and my hand sewing sucks..I know...Im horrid at it and avoid it like the plague. Hes now sitting in the back on the edge of my milk glass vase that I use for thread trims. I used my modern embroidery machine/digitizing program to create his face, but the rest was done up on the treadle.
