Sheyenne Chapman The time has gone by unbelievably fast. It feels as though it was yesterday we first stepped on the plane that brought us to Mongolia. During our time in Mongolia we were fortunate enough to work at the orphanage. We taught English lessons to the children, renovated a classroom and made traditional Mongolian crafts. While teaching English all the children always came with huge smiles on their faces, ready to learn. The renovation work was a lot of hard work, when we first saw the room we had some doubts if we could finish it in such a short amount of time. Yet through team work and dedication it turned out looking amazing. In addition, our crafts turned out great especially with the help of the sewing teacher. While working at the orphanage, we made relationships with the children, moreover, completed our renovation project. By the end of our journey, we could see the impact we made at the orphanage.
