Shiekh Assim Alhakeem, WHAT A LEGEND! "Interest based banks are your contemporary vampires. They suck the last penny of their victims. Complex debts of individuals have rocketed sky high. People borrow with interest through banks or credit cards to purchase what they need and what they don’t need. Our Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam told us that interest (Riba) is destined to demolish even if it is a lot. When the credit crunch showed its ugly face, all banks fell except the Islamic financing system. Islam came with a solution and among the best of solutions is interest free loans. Islam encourages Muslims to lend others and rewards it generously. The Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam told us that whoever lends an amount of money twice, Allah will reward him as if he’s given it to charity once. So, you lend 10,000 Euros twice and you get it back in your pocket and Allah rewards you as if you had given 10,000 to charity. Let us assume you gave money to someone and he failed to pay it back on the deadline and asked for another deadline. If you agree, Allah will reward you the full amount in charity; 10,000 in your good deeds’ record book. The astonishing thing is, if he failed again to meet the dead line and asked for more time and you agree, Allah will grant you for every day, the equivalent of that amount in sadaqah! This means that you are giving away in charity 10,000 euros daily until he gives it back to you.
