Shine His Light Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne. Unfailing love and truth walk before you as attendants. Happy are those who hear the joyful call to worship, for they walk in the light of your presence, Lord. (Psalms 89:14-15) Righteousness, justice, love, and truth are the foundation of Gods throne; they are central characteristics of the way God rules. These attributes summarize His Holy character. As Gods ambassadors, we should exhibit the same traits as we intact with other people. We must strive to let our actions flow out of righteousness, justice, love, and faithfulness; because any unfair, unloving, or dishonest action can not come from God. Non believers are always watching our actions, attitudes, and speech. We must continually keep ourselves aligned with Gods Word in all we say and do. Although not easy, our actions and reactions to the attitudes of the world are looked upon by others as either Christ like or not. We all fail at times but glory be to God, for He understands our human weaknesses. When we miss the mark, we, through Christ Jesus can go to God and ask for forgiveness for our words, thoughts, and actions. Put on His righteousness and let His character shine in all you say and do. This brings honor to our Father as we are His ambassadors to demonstrate His central characteristics for all the world to see. After all, we might be the only peek into Gods character many might experience.
