Shining As Lights In The World Through His Mighty Power That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; Holding forth the word of life (Philippians 2:15,16) Sons of God, a LIGHT with the mind of Christ (Who humbled Himself and became obedient unto death even the death of the cross and is now highly exalted and to whom every knee should and shall bow and confess that Jesus Christ is Lord). Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus,who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God,but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men.And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name,that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth,and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.(Philippians 2:5-11) As our salvation is being worked out in us and out through us with fear and trembling because we know our weaknesses and disputings,our strivings and not esteeming others better than ourselves and how much we need to depend on Him as He works in us the desire and the power to do His good pleasure. Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself.(Philippians 2:3) Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling;for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure. Do all things without complaining and disputing.(Philippians 2:12-14) Its through us that He has chosen to reveal His light and to hold forth the Word of life.Its Christ this world needs to see and God has chosen us to reveal Him in and through.Thats why we are still here that Christ might be revealed in and through us in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation. And it is through His Mighty power in us that God reveals His Son. Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of His calling, and what the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,And what is the exceeding greatness of His power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of His mighty power,Which He wrought in Christ, when he raised Him from the dead, and set Him at His own right hand in the heavenly places,(Ephesians 1:16-20) THAT WE MAY KNOW,The Hope of HIS CALLING,The Riches of the Glory of HIS INHERITANCE,and The Exceeding Greatness of HIS POWER. We are the recipients of His Calling,His Inheritance and His Power and He wants us to KNOW all about it and this is the SAME MIGHTY POWER He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His own right hand FAR above all principalities and powers. This is the very same power that indwells us RIGHT NOW and we should have no doubt, when He is ready can and will raise or change our bodies and catch us away to meet Him in the air and be taken out and through this world that is controlled by Satan and his demons.They will have no power to interfere in that mighty operation. But just remember that POWER is in us right now and can do wondrous and mighty things now by manifesting Christ in us and through us.
