Synopsis - A deep low near to Southwest Iceland will move east, then later north-east, towards the Norwegian Sea, whilst high pressure remains centred near to the Azores. Wind - West or west-southwest force 7 to gale 8, increasing gale 8 to severe gale 9 later in the night, easing 7 to gale 8, occasionally severe gale 9, during Wednesday evening. State of sea - Moderate or rough, becoming rough or very rough overnight. Weather - Mainly fair with only isolated showers, although showers will develop a little more widely during Wednesday afternoon into the evening. Visibility - Good, occasionally moderate later. Outlook for the following 24 hours - Wind - West or west-southwest force 7 to gale 8 on Wednesday night, occasionally severe gale 9 at first. Remaining west or west-southwest during Thursday, 7 to gale 8 in the morning, decreasing gradually 6 or 7 by the evening and 5 or 6 later. State of sea - Rough or very rough, becoming moderate or rough later. Weather - Scattered showers, then occasional rain towards and during Thursday evening.
