Ships of the Northern and Baltic fleets hold exercises in the Mediterranean Large anti-submarine ship “Admiral Levchenko” and large landing ship “Olenegorsky Gornyak” of the Northern Fleet (NF) started working on interaction with large landing ships of the Baltic Fleet “Kaliningrad” and “Minsk”. According to ITAR-TASS, Head of information provision of the press-service of the Western Military District on the Northern Fleet Vadim Serga said, that exercises of four ships belonging to the Russian Navy of the inter-fleet grouping, were being held in the eastern Mediterranean, to the south-west of the island of Cyprus. In the coming days the military men will take part in the training on air defense – repelling attacks from different altitude ranges.
