Shirley-Savoy Hotel, 17th and Lincoln. Second pic is The Indian Grill tavern and dining area in the hotel. In 1962, the properties were split. The Savoy, housing the lobby, tavern, and dining room, continued to operate as a hotel. The Shirley, the Lincoln Building, and the Shirley annex were slated for destruction that same year. The Savoy was torn down in 1970, and construction of Columbia Plaza commenced. The former Shirley Hotel site is now a parking garage. Pictured below is the Indian Grill around 1905.
