Shiva is you! Pure Consciousness without form, without body, without mind. Sati is you! The creator of form, life and matter. The unity is the most essential aspects of life within cyclic existence maintaining balance! Shiva (Pure Consciousness) is timeless and forever but is only complete through Sati (Creator of Form and Matter, all Creation, the Mother earth Herself). While Sati will always burn to ashes because she is the one with Form, with a mind and mind will always give rise to the Maya or Illusion of false Ego. This Ego must leave in order for Peace and Love to re-enter thus the end of Sati is essential but it is not the end it is the beginning to be re-born for Shiva to assure herself and him of their unity that is for eternity, perfect Balance!. Shiva as the Consciousness cannot have a form without Sati. Sati without Shiva will never be at balance without the destruction of ego from form to attain higher level of spirituality. In a deeper sense both Shiva and Sati is in you, is you! :)
