Shoalhaven City Council Mayor, Joanna Gash is encouraging local residents interested in crime prevention to attend the upcoming Safer Community Action Team meeting. The Safer Community Action Team (SCAT) is a partnership between the community, Police, Local Government, industry and business designed to increase community safety, reduce anti-social behaviour, crime and the fear of crime in the Shoalhaven. Taking place at the Nowra Administration Building on Tuesday 25 November from 2pm, the quarterly SCAT meetings provide the community with an opportunity to gain a greater understanding of ongoing efforts in crime prevention.
