Shoals Animal Advocates Adoption at Russellville Animal Clinic 9am - 12pm The following dogs will be at the adoption: AURORA is a 2-year old Dachshund Yorkie mix that had been roaming in Franklin County for a while. She was bitten by a dog and a good samaritan contacted us. Aurora is at our vet now. Shes thin, has fleas, in heat, has a leg injury from dog fight/bite, and is microfilaria and heartworm positive. Aurora is currently being vetted. BOBO was on the euthanization list at Florence Shelter. Hes a 7-month old blonde Lab mix. CHOLO is a 2-year old male Bulldog mix that was tied up at the back of a trailer in Franklin County without shelter, dog house and neglected. CONNOR is a stray brindle mixed breed that is severely unnourished. He’s currently boarded at a vet. He needs a loving caring home and lots of TLC. CLAUDE is a 7-month old Lab/Hound mix born April 2014. He was abandoned in Franklin County. PEACHES is a 5-year old Mountain Cur mix that we pulled from the Franklin Shelter on 9/4/14. Born August 2009. Good with kids and other dogs. Peaches is undergoing HW treatment. TIDE is a 1-year old male Basset/B.D. mix that was abandoned in Haleyville with his siblings Crimson and Bama. Tide would do best in an indoor environment due to the prior abuse and neglect he endured because we think when hes outside he thinks hes being abandoned again and he has anxiety with it. Vet report: we are using antibiotic eye drops to get the infection cleared up then we will be able to better assess his eye and determine if it needs to be removed. Even if it isnt removed he will likely be blind in that eye. He has bad conjunctivitis and is only 3 lbs at the age of 7-8 months. PENELOPE is an 8-week old female black/white stray kitten from Franklin County. She’s being treated for an eye infection.
