Shocking: Arab mother hopes her baby will become a suicide bomber. The Jewish Israeli doctors saved her son’s life while Israelis came to visit her with gifts to make her stay easier. Her perspective on the value of life will certainly shock and alarm you — or maybe it won’t, because you agree with her. Shahid status is that of an Islamic holy warrior who willingly sacrifices his life for Islam — as you can see becoming a suicide bomber is highly revered. As well, this mother’s opinion on Jerusalem, or as she calls it, Al Quds, is historically disturbing. Mohammad’s supposed night ride to Jerusalem and ascension was rejected by his own tribe in Mecca, which led to his Hijra to Medina and the second phase of Islam — the beginning of violent raid expeditions — concluding with Mohammad’s breaking of the Treaty of Hudabiyya and the subsequent taking of Mecca in 628 AD in what is called the Battle of the Trenches where some 3,000 Jewish males were executed by beheading. Long before there was Mohammad and Islam, there was Jerusalem, the City of David. So the question to ask is will there ever be peace for Israel as long as there are Arab mothers who believe as this woman does? The obvious answer is no. How is it possible to coexist with mothers who don’t see life as precious and are happy to see their children die?
