Shocking New Malaysia Airlines MH370 Claim Made By Aviation Expert Could Solve The Mystery A former airline boss and writer now claims... NORVELL ROSE — DECEMBER 23, 2014 Diego Garcia is a small, remote island in the Indian Ocean that’s the site of a U.S. military base, reportedly operated by the United States Navy. The facility is said to serve as a large naval ship and submarine support base, military air base, communications and space-tracking facility. So the presence of an unexpected, unauthorized aircraft in the area could certainly be cause for alarm. That’s one consideration that could lend credibility to a new theory about the mysterious disappearance of Malaysia Airlines MH370 on March 8th of this year. As reported by The Daily Mail: Marc Dugain, the former chief executive of now-defunct Proteus Airlines, said the jumbo jet was shot down near a U.S. military base on the remote island of Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean after it was hacked. He told Paris Match that islanders in the Maldives near Diego Garcia told him they saw the missing aircraft flying low. The theory offered by Dugain — who it should be noted is a successful novelist — apparently depends in large part on his claims about what islanders near the Diego Garcia military base saw and found. Again, via dailymail.co.uk: Advertisement-content continues below [Close]Ads byCouponarific Dugain spoke of a fisherman on a small island who spoke of a ‘huge plane’ in Malaysie Airline’s colours on March 8. He also said islanders had found an empty fire extinguisher from the plane in the water near Baarah island. Speaking to a radio station about his theory, Dugain said he had been advised by an intelligence source to keep quiet because going public with his story could present “risks.” This is not the first time that the U.S. military base on Diego Garcia has been mentioned in regard to the disappearance of MH370. A few weeks after the plane vanished, a freelance journalist said he had evidence that the aircraft was, for some undisclosed reason, secretly diverted to the base after being hijacked. According to a post about the journalist’s article on MH370 at intellihub: …MH370 most likely landed at Diego Garcia and the plane may have been ushered into a massive “Faraday cage” style hangar to avoid passengers from communicating with the outside world.” Surprisingly, this all dovetails with a Malaysian Insider report released on Mar. 18 titled “US military base, South Asian airports in MH370 pilot’s simulator, says paper“, as the pilot of MH370 was found to have had scale simulations of Diego Garcia in his home flight simulator. Malaysia Airlines Flight 370, a Boeing 777 aircraft, lost contact with air traffic control roughly an hour after taking off from Kuala Lumpur with 239 people aboard.
