“Shop Local in your Crazy/Silliest Hat” The Chamber of Commerce is having our Wine/Beer Walk for Friday, June 28 from 4 – 7 p.m. . The walk starts at the Chamber of Commerce, 625 S. Broad Street. All Participants will get their ID checked to make sure theyare over 21. The cost is $25 for your arm band, your glass, and a back-pack for your purchases. By popular demand, the Mountain View Golf Course is bringing back thestretch Golf carts to give rides to the pickup/drop off locations. EachChamber member will list what they are serving and what special theyare having for the “Shop Local” event. Each participant must visit and have their map stamped at every business on the map to be eligible for raffle prizes. All maps need to be returned to the bar at the Golf Course where we will begin our raffle drawings at approximately 8 p.m. The Chamber is sponsoring a gift certificate to use at one of the local businesses for $40 for the person who shows up to the Chamber with crazy or silliest hat. Winner will be announced at the Mountain View Golf Course. Starting at 7 p.m., the Mountain View Golf Course will have a passenger van at the Civic Center to give rides out to the Golf Course where they will have food, games,a free photo booth(provided by L.C. Convention & Tourism) music/DJ and drawings for raffle prizes. Core Construction is sponsoring the Firewirks display at the Golf Course. The Battle Mountain Chamber of Commerce is a 501 c 6 Non-Profit Organization.Funds raised from the Wine/Beer Walk helps to support the various advertising projects the Chamber is involved in, as well encouraging shopping local to support Battle Mountain’s economy.
