Shopping for notebooks and agendas in Tokyo: If you want the best - TopicsExpress

Shopping for notebooks and agendas in Tokyo: If you want the best selection in one place, go to Tokyu Hands in Shinjuku (8th floor). No other shop has a bigger selection. Even the stationery building of Ito-ya in Ginza cannot beat Tokyu Hands Shinjuku. On the ground floor of Tokyu Hands, check out the amazing Porter bags (made by Yoshida Co.). These are the BEST bags period. I spent an hour there today checking out agendas for 2015. There were hundreds of them! I ended up with the same one I bought last year made by Hightide. I also ended up getting a Pilot Kakuno, Pilot cartridges, a mechanical pencil and pencil refills. The Kakuno was selling for 1000 yen - not bad, less than US$10. I could not find the Midori Cotton MD notebook 5th anniversary with pouch -- I guess that was last years product. I did see the Travelers Notebook but Im still debating whether to get this. I did not like the leather, the paper . . .
