We walk in to this discount housewares store and I half paying attention realize the sales woman is referring to us - as me as her brother and my mother as her mother... (falsehood)... it turns out she was trying to shake off a would-be stalker whom she was introduced to (vaguely) through her mutual friend... I guess she said if I knew he were there I would be beating him up... so the stalker guy scoots out of the store... she later gave us a 60% discount and some free samples... retailing is a strange animal indeed!
