Short Film Review: THE BOOK THIEF its a very accomplished film that is told well, the script and direction is good, very good performances, great score, the problem the film has is its a little too clean, everythings well polished and pristine and lacks a bit of grit to it, not a fan of the narration from death, plus it could have been great if it used the emotion right but unfortunately it didnt, overall a well enough made and presented film that was told well enough to keep the attention but it just needed dirtying up with a bit more drama punched into it. 5/10
