Short Group update, Well it has been a very busy 48 hours to say the least. Yesterday we launched the nose project , it was stressful but very enjoyable. As you can see from the photo above the balcony was lined with many hundreds of Concorde fans all waiting to see the nose move. It was really nice to see our team together and not working on the aircraft for a change and we enjoyed the launch immensely. The day started with the unveiling of the Concorde model that was at Waterside and has been loaned to DAS for display under the aircraft. Capt John Hutchinson did a fantastic speech about Concorde that was both amusing and to the point. We then moved on to the nose and after DAS, Hydraulics online and me had said a few words we moved it for the press to see. The nose performed perfectly, something I would expect after our team of engineers had restored it. Well done to the team it was so nice to see you all with your partners. I have to say the reception to the news has been brilliant we have had many messages from other groups and people saying how pleased they are with our work and I would like to thank everyone for your support. I am sure you will all understand that to maximize the impact of the nose project and gain publicity for Concorde we could not say anything until yesterday about the project being completed. Again thanks for the kind messages and support, lets hope the good work continues. Graham
