Short Review: The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess Visuals ★★★☆☆ Although a failure in comparison to most other games, Loz: TP has greatley enhanced its graphics from that of its predecessors. Nintendo were trying to make the Loz characters different yet more realistic, but realistically most characters had an odd body ratio but with better definition than the previous games. Still, with more indepth dungeons and various terrains, Twilight Princess proves visually to be an exciting and beautiful game for many. From swinging monkeys to puzzle ridden temples, theres definitley a lot to see and explore. Maneuverability ★★★☆☆ Whilst Loz has always been a fast thumb burning game that requires a lot of focus for many, you cant help but feel like the game has been forced, not willingly changed, to adapt to a new generation of game controllers. Sword slashes and lunges can be achieved with a simple flick of the wrist, which of course has its benefits in fast paced combat, but had its disadvantages when trying to feel more connected to thevgane itself. Quite a considerable amount of Loz players have stated that they preferred the Gamecube (Windwaker) /N64 (Ocarina of Time) controls as opposed to the Wii Remote for Twilight Princess. Some of the gameplay, for many people, became tiring and repatative. For example, having to refil the lantern constantly to activate puzzles in random places. Although this problem is simply solved by a magic bird (I wont reveal too much) who enables you to teleport in and out of specific areas in dungeons, it still seems unnecessary to add the oil lantern to a game not that focused on being realistic, but at least it was unique and brought something new to the table. Story ★★★★☆ Personally I found the story to be an excellent follow on from LOZ: Ocarina of Time, and the majority of the fanbase did so too. Obviously I dont want to spoil anything incase you havent played it yet. All I can say is that you have to have patience and give the game time (No pun intended) to slowly unfold its contents. Overall rating: 8.5/10 Thanks for reading Wormhole gamess first short review!
