Short Term UBC PhD Graduate Student Work Opportunity Universitas 21 is looking for a Doctoral Mobility Project Officer and has asked UBC Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies to nominate a potential candidate for this paid position. They are looking for a current doctoral student who can be available to work a minimum of 50 hours, up to a possible 100 hours over an 8-10 week period. The student will ideally have completed the first year of their PhD program and be a competent administrator; displaying a high level of diligence, ability to manage different data sets, use their initiative and confidently mange their own time. Applicants must be confident using the English language, both written and spoken. Any additional languages (particularly those of U21 member regions: http//universitas21/member – would be desirable. The student should be ready to start work on the project no later than 30 September 2014. Interested candidates should submit a letter of interest and CV via email to [email protected] no later than 4:30 p.m. Wednesday August 6th, 2014. The work is to conduct research on opportunities within the U21 membership for doctoral candidates to visit other institutions within the group.
