Each of those parts will describe what will happen during your turn. 1/ Beginning Phase Untap step: untap all of your permanents. Spells can not be casted and abilities can not be activated during this step. Unkeep step: Any card that say: “at the beginning of your/player upkeep” will be triggered. Player can cast instants and activate abilities during this step. Draw step: You draw a card from your library. You opponents can only cast instant and activate abilities during your main phase. 3/Combat phase Beginning of combat step: Player can cast instants and activate abilities during this step. Declare attackers: you will decide which untapped creature you control will attack and attack which opponents. To declare an attacking creature, you tap that creature. Spells can not be casted and abilities can not be activated during this step. Declare blockers: the defending player will decide which untapped creature he/ she control will block in this combat and block which creature. Spells can not be casted and abilities can not be activated during this step, too. Combat damage step: Each attacking and blocking that are still on the battlefield deal damages to player (if the attacking creature is not blocked) or the creature blocking or blocked it. End of combat step: clear up the battlefield. Creatures that die in combat damage step will be put into it’s owner graveyard. . Player can cast instants and activate abilities during this step. 4/ Second main phase Once again, you can cast spells such as sorcery, instant, creature, enchantment, artifact or planewalker and activate abilities. You can also play a land during this phase if you did not play it earlier. You opponents can only cast instant and activate abilities during your main phase. 5/ Ending phase End step: Any card that say: “at the beginning of your/player end step” will be triggered. Player can cast instants and activate abilities during this step. Clear up step: If you have seven or more in your hand, you must decide to discard some of them until you have exactly seven cards in your hand. All damage on creature and effect that say “end of turn” will be clear up. Spells can not be casted and abilities can not be activated during this step.
