Short rant about immigration issue: Our borders are not secure, and Im actually okay with that. Walls keep people in, as much as they keep people out. Further, secure is a light switch: on or off. A 90% secure border is a border that is not secure. However, I fully support removing all incentives for people to immigrate illegally. Im sorry, you cannot enroll your child in a public school because you are not a citizen. Public is a not synonym for free I really do wish we could provide medical care, food, shelter, education, flat screen TVs, phones, college educations for everyone in the world, but we live in a world of limited resources. Please remember, or remind people, that for every dime spent on an illegal immigrant, that is a dime taken away from a citizen, a veteran, a taxpayer. Thats the way limited resources work . . . and in case, youve been watching Netflix for the past 20 years, we are definitely limited in resources presently.
