When a man has Parkinsons most often the caregiver is a wife (as I am.) But when the woman has Parkinsons, the husband is often less inclined to be a caregiver (even to the point of divorce.) I know in my heart my husband would be there for me, but I think that is a very sad statistic. When one marries they usually make a vow in sickness and in health. Some dont take it seriously I guess. Im so very glad that God is with me to help me through this daily walk.
