Short update: Mackenson is still in surgery. They are reporting to us often and so far he is doing well. He is undergoing a chiari decompression which will allow his spinal fluid to flow correctly and begin the process to help him grow. At ten years old, Mackenson weighs only 33 lbs and is the size of an average 4 year old. He has severe scoliosis, failure to thrive and things are complicated further by sickle cell disease. Thank you so much for your continued prayers. This is an emotional day for us all.
