Shot by CBC television in Canada at the OKeefe Centre for a episode of The Rock Scene: Like It Is, this film features a live performance of The End. Although the other acts return to the studio to overdub their performances, The Doors do not. Photographs taken in the studio indicate a rehearsal or a second performance, and feature an audience. The show broadcasts later in the U.S. on August 1, 1970 on WPIX re-titled the Now Explosion. The Oedipal section of The End has been omitted from the television broadcast, and an unedited performance is yet to be found. This televised performance was given an official release on The Doors Soundstage Performances DVD.
