Shotton Colliery demo details: We will be meeting at the Comrades club from 11.00, we will assemble on the green at Potto street at 1.30 We will take a short walk to the war memorial where local ex forces will lay a wreath and we will repect a minute silence. From the memorial we will walk to the demo point where we will listen to local speakers. (If you would also like to make a speech then contact the event organisers.) Driving: Please head to Potto Street Shotton Colliery Durham, County Durham DH6 2QJ ## Coaches can drop off at Potto Street but due to limited parking space must leave the area until the demo is over. ## NOTE: As you will be aware it is remembrance weekend, we ask that everyone attending wear a poppy. If you would also like to lay a wreath at the memorial then please contact an organiser. We are aware of a counter demo also being held by the local left wing haters, we would like to ask everyone attending not to react to these people.
