Should I COREY lol Information Systems/Technical: IT Database Management/Services Business Systems Engineer - Dallas Cowboys Merchandising (Dallas, TX) Qualified candidate needed to serve as Business Systems Engineer in the Information Technology department of the Dallas Cowboys. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILIITES: • Responsible for managing primary business systems that support the Dallas Cowboys football club/merchandising related companies. • Assist in the design, development, and implementation of database and information system related projects. • Interactively work with individuals and business units to investigate and solve business problems and/or improve current business processes. • Interface with end-users to best determine how to satisfy business requirements. • Establish good internal processes for designing, developing, testing, and debugging code. • Develop and execute system conversion, migration, implementation, and upgrade plans. • Monitor system performance in order to address any system alerts generated through enterprise systems. • Work closely with IT team members to deploy, troubleshoot new and existing problems. • Configure system enterprise software including ERP, databases, and middleware applications. • Work with IT staff to field basic trouble tickets and service requests. • Develop custom solutions/enhancements and reports utilizing information technology tools and software. • Plan, design, and implement special projects at the direction of IT Staff. • Assist in improving the efficiency of the Dallas Cowboys IT organization. • Prepare, review, and implement documentation related to IT policies and procedures. JOB REQUIREMENTS (Must meet the following minimum requirements): • Desire to gain experience as a computer service professional in a demanding yet highly rewarding industry. • Experience with or expertise supporting/implementing enterprise resource planning systems, warehouse management systems, and retail point-of-sale systems. • Knowledge of application design and development utilizing various software tools. • Microsoft SQL Server knowledge – Transact SQL, database and table design, stored procedures, and indexes. • Ability to develop complex queries including multi-table joins, aggregate functions, unions, and sub-queries. • Tableau knowledge preferred – report and interactive dashboard design and development. • Other duties as assigned. • Availability to work standard support hours (M-F, 8:30 – 5:30) along with occasional after-hours and weekend support.
