Should I compare her to the light of beauty? The beauteous light of those in gardeners eyes Roses in cheeks and tulips kissed honey Sweet is her aroma and I dare say to see her is to be blind Lost sight in her presence am I held in pleasant darkness Crow pecked eyes in delight at her subtle stare For seconds beyond what I can understand for quickness Her eyes peer downward toward joyous pictures of well kept ware Id be held without sunlight or spring breezes to know her hand in mine Words may leap into the terrors of winter storms as night turns to day Yet, she still in hand would I be in suspended time Growing into the olden, golden falls of extended stay Given my lost sight and lost movement Take my eyes and legs for a hand of hers and voice for an eternal commitment
