Should it happen, the effect that Scottish independence will have on the English industries will, I suspect, be as disruptive as the Millennium Bug. Remember that? All that fear? All that panic? Yep, some people put in a few extra hours overtime (myself included, back when it was at a preferential pay rate, remember that?!) but ultimately, what happened? Scotland, vote how you like. But please *dont* vote out of fear.
