Should the leader of the Green party, the leader of the SNP and the leader of Plaid Cymru be allowed a place in the televised leader debates in the run up to the UK-wide Westminster General Election? If not, why on earth is the leader of UKIP invited to participate when UKIP have only one Westminster MP and no prospect of their leader leading the United Kingdom, the apparent criteria set by the group of broadcasters as to who is and who is not invited to participate. The BBC is paid for by all owners of television sets across the UK through a mandatory annual BBC Television license fee. By charter, they are obliged to remain politically neutral. Dont wait for a protest poll to sign, please write to them; they are obliged to respond.
