Should we wait for a miracle to happen ? Last week there was a post on fb on the dilemma of a pregnant dear. Like many others I too liked and shared it. To rewind I present the gist of it. The situation is like this. There is dear in a forest, she is pregnant and due to give birth to a baby dear. She is in search of suitable place. She looks around only to find out that on one side there is a river, on the other side a hunter is aiming an arrow at her, on opposite of it there is lion ready to attach and on the fourth side there is wild fire. At such a moment of time she gets the labor pains. The writer puts question, what would have happened the next ? What the dear might have done ? Which direction she should go? or would have gone ? Whether she gave birth to the baby or not ? And the answer given is yes she did give birth to the baby dear. How ? The next sequence of events- A lightning occurs in the sky due to which the hunters attention gets distracted and the arrow goes off his bow and hits the lion. Rains starts to pour down and the fire is doused. O.K. that is fine to be on the positive side. Though the situation is hypothetical the solution is also hypothetical. It is a good teaching to be worry free and not to get panic at a tense situation. Solutions come at their own. But in reality whether miracles happen like this ? No . Though we should hope the best things in life ...... we definitely be prepared for the worst. We merely can not wait the miracles to happen to us. Miracles are miracles they may occur in rare situations. So again, "hope the best but be prepared for the worst" should be the policy always. Please react.
