Shoulder Movements Considering that the shoulder muscles contain mixed fiber types, they require different types of stimulus to respond & develop optimally. ➡️2X (double day training) ⤵️ Earlier in the day, heavier weights are used with more compound explosive movements to activate & prime the Central Nervous System. Later in the day (4-6 hours after first workout after having two solid meals & a bit of rest), a hypertrophy-based/volumizing/cell-swelling routine consisting of giant sets, drop sets, supersets, extended sets, etc is implemented for that same muscle (part of later routine shown in video). Reduced rest periods & much more lactic acid accumulation during the second workout (higher rep ranges/more time-under-tension, (not quite as heavy) but shorter overall workout length due to less rest..all work!) The twice a day training protocol outlined above will really promote growth and development by forcing the body to recruit more dormant muscle fibers as well as boost cellular adaptation processes, & can be applied to any muscle group...but make sure you are optimizing recovery with plenty of good nutrition, quality sleep, & minimized mind-made stress. Extra Branched Chain Amino Acids & Glutamine highly recommended as well.
