Shout out to those musicians who are trying to do something different with their art only to have it go over peoples heads and nothing get listened to foreal..I know your pain..and thats why I write simple and to the point songs today lol...Its all about making a clear conversation with the listener..Once I learned that I dropped the advanced structure and playing techniques I worked so hard on and compressed everything about myself into a three chord progression tune..and since then..People actually listen to my music now. Make your music understandable..unless you play for your own entertainment then do whatever..but if youre a struggling musician that is wondering why your music isnt being heard..start with that. Finding a balance between all this takes years and hard work.
