Show/dressage/driving mare for loan or share.: Home-bred welsh section D mare, 15.2hh old fashioned chunky type, 7 years old but has quite an old head on young shoulders. Nebo and Thorneyside (the Terminator) bloodlines. 100% in traffic, to trim (unshod) etc. Snaffle mouthed in all disciplines. Lives in or out although prefers to be rugged up outdoors. Brilliant show mare; has always been placed in both in-hand & ridden classes and has the potential to be a good dressage horse with more schooling, not totally keen on jumping although may take to jumping if brought on slowly with an understanding rider. Was previously long-reined in driving harness and took to it really well so also a potential driving horse (driving harness available). Im looking for a competent rider to either loan her within the south west area (part or full) or share her from our yard as I am away at uni and she is too nice to just be a field ornament! She is not malicious in any way but can jog when hacking and get strong at times so is not a complete novice ride (although I have had novices ranging from 8-50 years old on her no problem), preferably a show home as she really loves to get out and about. She was ridden and shown successfully over the summer but has had a few weeks off due to no rider so will need bringing back into work which wont take long. Tack and rugs available if needed.
