Show six down of eight this week..two more to go. Another treacherous ride from Enfield, NH to Hooksett tonight, for a private Christmas party. The entire highway was a sheet of slush, rain, and snow, or some other undesirable precipitation that has not stopped falling in one form or another for nearly three days. Had a great time at the event though, and before the equally nasty ride home, I got to see my old pal and musical partner Joe McDonald, as he was scheduled to play the downstairs level of the venue simultaneously. We got together after the show and played some Peter & Gordon Brit pop favorites, as well as The Beatles. American Legion tomorrow night, thankfully just across town. I think I put 700 miles on my vehicle this week alone, and none of it driven over 30 miles per hour, or in any temperature above 33 degrees. People appear to leave their brains at home when driving in winter.
