Showers and thunderstorms moving east towards Arkansas. Should be - TopicsExpress

Showers and thunderstorms moving east towards Arkansas. Should be here around lunchtime; more storms expected this evening and overnight. Overall, the atmosphere is marginal for supercells and tornadoes. Highest risk today up North into Minnesota. Still, if theres one thing Ive learned about spring in Arkansas and Oklahoma.. Its that anything is possible when storms are possible. Main threat is damaging wind, followed by hail. But there remains at least a small risk for a few rotating storms and possibly a tornado. Severe risk is with us until Monday: - Storms Fri afternoon (isolated most develop in central AR) - Storms late night Saturday and early Sunday (warm front, hail main threat) - Storms Monday with cold front (squall line, limited tornado potential)
