Showing correlation between utterly unrelated things is great, since it can be used to clearly illustrate how correlation and causation are two different things. I often buy food at a little hippie store down the road, because they have some nice products, but the poor science on display is astounding. We (as people) are constantly looking for the next big bad thing to explain away one problem or another, and often unfairly malign companies and products in the doing of it.
