I know, I know, Tombstone is the super-quotable and iconic movie about what the late Wally Clayton always called that damned gunfight-- but Costners restraint, the Byronic Doc Holliday of Dennis Quaid, Gene Hackman as stern Judge Earp, and seeing the Masterson brothers portrayed so well and so accurately, makes this my go-to Earp flick. (And James Horners score is great. Whether you like the film or not, you owe it to yourself to track down the complete score for Wyatt Earp.)
