Shrewsbury has one of the lowest tax rates in MA– thanks to decades of strong leadership. Although well-intentioned, Prop 2 1⁄2 left our fiscally responsible town at a disadvantage. Increases of 21⁄2% of our already low tax rate can’t keep pace with growth, rising costs or even inflation. A YES vote is a fiscally responsible investment in our community.
