Periyva instructed Kumbakonam Thiyagarajan- Kumbakonam Thiyagu to prepare Tirupati laddus and may served with the meals for the vedic pundits. You know how Tirupati laddu is prepared. Full cashews, lot of ghee etc. will be used. As per the wishes, Tirupati laddus were prepared and served with meals for the vedic pundits. When Vedic scholars who took part in the sahasra bojanam is about to finish the meals, Periyva came and instructed Kumbakonam Thiyagu to serve laddus once again to the vedic pundits. Kumbakonam Thiagu who came as a volunteer for the Sahasra bojana and others were quite surprised “Why Periyva instruct us to serve laddus once again? ”. Knowing well, Vedic pundits had finished the meals and will not eat laddus fully and they will be wasted as huge cost is involved in preparing the laddus. Thinking like this, they once again started serving laddus. Accordingly laddus were served. Many vedic pundits left over the laddus. Then Periyva asked the attendants and Kumbakonam Thiagu to look behind - the place- where plaintain leaves- after taking food- were thrown and they saw Narikuravas in large numbers taking the laddus , eating joyfully and storing them for future use in their dalda tins. It is customary on the part of them to take food from leftover . Periyva told them that they were quite happy to see laddus in the leftover leaves. They are nomads, they have no houses and they are going from one place to place. In this genma, they are quite pathetic and in the next genma they must be happy having their own houses , taking food with their children. So I want you to serve laddus once the vedic pundits finished their meals. See Periyva karunai. These people are suffering now. But in the next genma, they must not suffer. They must lead good life.
