Siamese cats are born white. Their color points (darker color on the face, tail, and feet) develop as they grow. Color develops in the cool extremities of the cat due to a gene mutation. The most common color is seal point (dark brown), but Siamese cats can also come in chocolate point (lighter brown), blue point (grey), and lilac point (lighter grey). Rarer colors are lynx point (tabby), flame point (orange), cream point (blonde), or tortie point.
