Sibling Encouragement. This picture is from a series that I happen to capture on April 27th of this year, in my back yard. The hummer on the left had left the nest the day before, and was hanging out on a nearby limb in the same tree. Its sibling was still trying to fly and just wasnt quite ready yet. But what I captured was the older sibling seeing that the younger was trying to fly, and the older one flew over to the younger one to offer encouragement. It was the sweetest thing ever.
