Sick and tire to Don but we have an underlying problem that people like you will not address. That problem is that the police through racial profiling treat good people the same as bad. Having done 8 1/2 months only to have my case nol pos, a 1 /2 later when there was no evidence to support the charges is just one of hundreds of cases in this city where justice was not serve. This is nothing less than terrorism coming from the very same people who are sworn to protect us. How can they the police expect help from people they dont respect. People that they bully everyday like it is their job. No one wants these dangerous criminal in our neighborhood but given the police service in our community, in the area of response time and respect for the citizens in the east in. The solution must start with a change in attitude and adjustment in the police department. I am more afraid of being harassed by the police than shot by one of these idiots. People like you Don could assist in this process but instead perpetuate the perception that people going through a difficult period in this city are a danger to public safety. These people who are shooting and killing people are a danger to some of the very people who are going to jail on false charges. You cant have justice when money through fines and imprisonment is the goal. Only through public safety can this problem be solved, not public harassment. Face it decisions are being mad on false assumptions. Homeless people are a target just because they are visible not because they are doing anything dangerous, while these jackasses are shot at people for sport.
