Sick of time wasters. ***£1200 Takes it** 12 months MOT, 3 Months TAX. 117K, Very well looked after. If it dont sell, Im gonna sell mods individually then sell it as factory spec/standard on eBay. Blaze yellow 106 GTi, Previous owner before myself was a 50+ year old mechanic for the public services, he owned the car for over 11 years! Mileage in his time of ownership was kept at a very minimal as he only used the car at weekends. Doing less than 12,000 miles in 5 years. He looked after the car very well mechanically. Cambelt, frequent services and replacing parts as and when needed. Generally the body work of the car is very tidy, there is some paint bubbling on the drivers side rear quarter near the petrol cap (see pictures) nothing major. There is a small dent in the drivers wing which can only be seen in certain light/angles. The sun roof seal is a little tatty and has been siliconed at some point but has never leaked. Other than this the body work is close to mint. The car is very standard in comparison to most other GTis for sale other than a few subtle modifications I have done that make it look much better than standard but not over the top and molested. The interior is mint and the carpet comes up like new. I have made some custom door cards but have not yet finished them. (See pictures) I only use the car at weekends and seems a waste to sit there and not be used, hence reason for sale. The car NEVER sees past 3k revs until Oil is up to running temperature. The engine does not smoke at all, starts, runs & drives exactly as it should. It does however need the cam covers looking at as they do leak slightly. I have just serviced the car, replacing the spark plugs, Oil filter and oil. I have also just fitted new front pads with drilled & grooved disks. Rear is also fitted with drilled & grooved disks that are only approximately 7months old with very little use. It is currently on White rallye steelies with 4 matching Yokahoma A539 tyres, very grippy. OMP deep dish steering wheel OMP front upper strut brace. Lockwood Dials Full 2 Saxsport race exhaust system in near new condition. Tinted Rear MR lights 52mm Oil pressure & volt gauge (Fitted to A pillar) Front Morette headlights in great condition. (Inner lamps wired up to separate switch on dash) Legal Pressed tin number plates. Full set of Red Rallye seatbelts. Nissens alloy Radiator. The car is taxed until 30/9/14 and has just passed its MOT with only 3 Minor advisorys. The mileage is 117k but will go up ever so slightly. I do have a chunky folder full of receipts, including original service book and original purchase receipt of the vehicle. However due to house moving Im still trying to find it. Full log book in my name, Original and spare key are present. Im open to sensible offers but am in no means to sell it in a rush, so please dont say Ill give you £500 and a biscuit and ill collect tomorrow. £1200 - I do also have a few spares I can chuck in if the money is there.
