Sickening that their are people in the world that can commit atrocities like this. Crimes against the defenseless, children & animals, are inexcusable. I wish whomever was responsible had to endure the same type of beating. At least this baby, shes only 10 months old & is said to have a very sweet nature, looks like she is going to recover. On November 10th, a 10 month old Weimeraner puppy named Pollo was rushed to a vet in Winter Haven by her owner. She had suffered a fractured jaw, broken teeth, a broken pelvis, damage to her eye and eye socket, broken bones in her tail.On November 14 she had her first surgery on her jaw. It was not only broken in a number of places, it was also detached and fractured in the front. For more than three hours, her surgeon, Dr. Stephen Van Lue carefully put her jaw back together. Pollo is progressing amazingly well! Shes no chicken, shes one tough beautiful weimie and shes come through every surgery like a champ. Three days after she was attacked, she managed to stand on her own. Shes eating and drinking.
