I am trying to remember back when i first met sweet Kirsten, i believe we first physically met when she and Roy came to one of our Happy Horse Days, three years ago, where i know we met, talked, laughed...and hugged for the first time...I remember her telling me years ago she received a video from us, one of my old homemade VHS tapes, of *Sidi-Brahim, where she instantly became a Fan of his! Her mother once wrote and told me this ...Kirsten is such a fan of *Sidi-Brahim, her room walls were decorated with all his photos, he was her pin-up Boy! I believe they must have enjoyed themselves here on our Day ... because she wrote and told me of her love for a certain mare, who at the time was in Montana, but returning home again...Macarena Brahima stole her heart, her beautiful photos taken by Shannon....and Kirsten found each other! Macarena Brahima {*Sidi-Brahim x MA Halima Rouge...who is *Ansata Ibn Halima/*Nabor bred}, a big chestnut strong beauty she is ... when she asked about purchasing her, i was so happy Macci would finally have her home for Life. We decided to include a breeding to any of the Stallions here at Los Acres, and Macarena had already proven herself a beautiful producer. This is where Kirsten decided, being a fan also of the lovely Sheila Varian bred Arabs, to use our Battle Boy Beauty...ONCE N ALIFETIME! Sired by Bravado Bey V, and out of Lenita Brahim...This is where the darling bay filly, Viva A Vida comes to Life! A very fortunate filly she is ... and now a part of the great Oregon family ... The Baldwins... We want to Thank Kirsten for her strong belief and dedication to our *Sidi-Brahim ...
