Sierra Leone Lockdown Day1: 22 dead bodies discovered in Freetown and its surroundings. Two had died apparently for days and kept at home where a third is seriously ill. Not clear whether all 22 were Ebola deaths. Nearly 900 emergency calls to the 117 hotline. Only seven suspected cases taken in at the Lakka holding centre due to spacenconstraint. Patients holding centre at Hastings not ready in time for the start of lockdown as promised. Very peaceful but the 7,000 teams of four started visits hours late due to late arrival of material such as soap. Holes complained of no temperature tests - just some chat about the disease and a bar of soap for the family. Day two - good weather so far...@Umaru Fofana Also the Ministry of Water Resources in collaboration with Guma Valley Water Company have set up 5, 000Land 10, 000L tanks at some of the unserved and underserved areas in Freetown during days lock down for use by the community people. The locations are as follows: Cline Town, Alfred Street, Black Hall Rd by the mosque, Kissy Bye Pass Rd by PWD, Belmont Street, Black Hall Road by Benz Garage, Forster St, Savage Square, Bombay St by Kissy Rd, Right Path Street, Black Hall Rd by Mende Church, Race Course Rd by the Garage, Kissy Dock yard by the field, Allen Town by Temne Town, Kroobay, Susans Bay, Cassava Farm, Regent Road Lumley, Juba Barracks, Kabba Drive, Kabassa Lodge, Juba Hill, Kanigo, Fornima, Boama.
