Sierra Sherpas Health Potion 1-2 whole lemons, squeezed with seeds discarded 2-4 inches ginger finely chopped, 3 cups of filtered water himalayan salt (to taste) stevia or honey to taste 1tbs raw apple cider vinegar Boil diced ginger and salt for about 10 minutes or until liquid has reduced to 2 cups. The water should be light brown with ginger. Remove and strain (or dont strain depending how sick you are. If you have a cold do not strain.) into cup. Add vinegar and stir. After the drink has cooled enough to drink add lemon and stevia until the drink resembles a pleasant ginger lemon soda. Stand over the drink when making it so that by now you are quite flushed from the steam. Drink quickly. Do not add lemon to early as it will lose a lot of its antibacterial properties. If you make this drink more than three times in a day you can leave out vinegar but this potion is for curing colds or oncoming colds and vinegar is very important. Sierra Sherpas Health Soup 3-4 cloves finely diced organic garlic (do this first and let it sit for full medicinal effect) 2-4inches ginger finely diced (Peruvian, preferably) 3 cups of filtered water or bone broth 1tbs soy sauce (organic preferable) cayenne to taste ( or garlic chili paste, any with capsaicin) himalayan salt (to taste) dash of sesame seed oil 1 tbs of organic corn starch 1 egg beaten lemon juice from 1 squeezed lemon 1 tbs apple cider vinegar braggs mist chopped scallions and cilantro and chili to garnish (optional) Add water, garlic, ginger, chili to pot and bring to a boil. Turn to low and cover. Let it simmer for 5 to 10 minutes. After 10 minutes add soy salt and pinch of salt. In a separate bowl add corn starch and 3 tbs of hot liquid from the pot. Whisk quickly together. Add corn starch back to pot whisking in quickly. Bring back to a boil. Whisking broth quickly with one hand in a clock wise motion add the egg slowly to the broth whisking the whole time. Remove from heat and add lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, a misting of braggs essential amino acids, and sesame seed oil. If you are vegan consider using organic tofu as a protein source. You can add chopped green scallions as a garnish. And sriracha. Consume quickly. Follow with a small amount of carbs i.e. fried rice, or sourdough bread, or a cup of blueberries. Blow your nose. For a bad cold consume both soup and ****potion***. (ok you can call it glorified lemonade.) and the soup is really super glorified hot and sour soup. Do you hear the bells in your ears? Thats congestion. Clear it out.
