Sigh... The posts of everyones shopping hauls is OK, and Ive admittedly done the same at one time. And, I normally dont have a problem with people saying how much they spent on something throughout the year. But, when you start broadcasting how much you spent, ESPECIALLY after Christmas, when many peoples budgets are tapped out, and cant drop $500+ on thousands of lights without blinking, it comes across as bragging. Just show us your haul, tell us how many lights you got, where you got them and at what discount, and leave it at that! Dont say how much you spent on it! And, NO, Im not jealous. I have 20,000 lights I have yet to use. So, Im NOT lacking in the light department, and have no need to go out shopping. Im just thinking of the feelings of others who cannot get out and drop serious amounts of cash on Christmas lights right after the most expensive holiday of the year.
